BE HERE THEN: PHOTOS FROM THE BIBLICAL PAST
This project is an exploration of Biblical stories through visual art, a look at their interpretation in various cultures,
and an attempt to offer our own, personal artistic vision inspired by these ancient tribal histories.

Biblical texts, sacred to so many cultures, have one other intriguing aspect- that of an authentic tribal history, description of the lives and adventures, physical and spiritual struggles of our ancient tribal ancestors. The stories themselves are often filled with details so intensely personal they breathe with authenticity, while their visual representations, so marvelously varied throughout different cultures, present a fascinating view on the idea of image and its meaning, offering a playground of endless discovery in search for the grain of the authentic truth.
While we do not lay claim to any depth of biblical or even historic scholarship, we endeavor to explore the stories that inspire us, as artists, to both create and learn, to compile, compare, reinvent, and share our genuine fascination with the subject.
